20–26°C (68–75°F) – cooler temps keep ’em calm and healthy.
PH:
6.8 – 7.6 (they’re chill but prefer slightly alkaline).
Diet:
Algae, biofilm, blanched veggies (zucchini, spinach), shrimp pellets, and the occasional calcium-rich snack for molting.
Filtration:
Sponge filter = bestie. Gentle flow, shrimp-safe, and grows yummy biofilm.
Tank Setup:
Fine substrate (inert or shrimp-safe)
- Mosses, plants, leaf litter = shrimp jungle gym
Use untreated plants such as in vitro cup.
Tank Mates:
Peaceful, small fish (if any). Better in a species-only setup for max survival.
